Great-great-grandma

While we were in Star Valley for Christmas time we made sure to go visit my great-grandmother, Elaine Dana. She lives in a small retirement home where they care for her. She’s now blind and suffers from Parkinson’s disease. She's amazing and despite all of her health challenges, she still manages to showoff her witty humor and sarcastic nature. Through a twist of fate, Theo is lucky enough to having a living great-great-grandmother.

People always ask me how this is possible so I’ll give a little explainer on how the generations became so compressed. Elaine had her first son Ken (my grandfather), at a young age and Ken had his first son Kipp (my father) when he was very young as well. I am my father’s first born so between all of that, Theo showed up in the world with an 87 year gap between himself and his great-great-grandmother.
